As an instructional technologist, Aaron's responsibilities include partnering with and supporting faculty use of technology as it relates to teaching, learning, and research. Some of the areas he consults on include digital scholarship, instructional design for blended learning, automated plagiarism detection, web accessibility, assignment planning, use of our learning management system (Brightspace), and web publishing. Not only does he support the use of specific tools, such as Brightspace, WordPress, Qualtrics, 3D printing, and mobile devices, but also engages with faculty on specialized course or research projects that may require unique technological tools and/or pedagogical approaches.
