Mark D. LeBlanc is Professor of Computer Science at Wheaton College (Norton, MA) where he has taught and conducted research with undergraduates for over 20 years. LeBlanc pioneered a number of interdisciplinary research and teaching efforts, including the Lexomics Research Group. LeBlanc teaches in an English-Computer Science “connection” by offering his COMP 131 – “Computing for Poets” course to introduce students to computational analyses on texts. The software and course materials are open source.
